The county accepts Maryland Public Information Act requests in writing by letter, email, or form. It generally responds within 30 days unless more time is needed. Ask for an electronic copy and a fee estimate. The first two hours of search and preparation are generally free under Maryland’s fee rule, while reasonable later search, preparation, and copying costs may apply.
